A message from Dermot Kelleher, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Vice-President, Health and Roger Wong, Vice Dean, Education.
We are pleased to announce the extension of Dr. Paul Winwood as Regional Associate Dean, Northern B.C., UBC Faculty of Medicine and Associate Vice-President, Division of Medical Sciences, UNBC, effective to June 30, 2027.
In this role, Dr. Winwood will continue to play an instrumental role in providing strategic leadership to ensure high-quality educational and research experiences for all learners, trainees and faculty in the North, including northern rural and Indigenous communities.
Working with UNBC and Northern Health and in alignment with the strategic priorities and plans of the Faculty of Medicine and UBC, Dr. Winwood will continue to provide leadership of UBC’s medical and health professions programs in the Northern region, including the Northern Medical Program and Master of Physical Therapy and Master of Occupational Therapy programs. We look forward to our continued work with Dr. Winwood.
