Develop an understanding of open scholarship in higher education and learn to advocate for open practices through the Program for Open Scholarship and Education (POSE).
Presented by the UBC Open Working Group, the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology and UBC Library, the three-month online program is open to faculty, staff, postdocs and students interested in open research, open access and open education.
POSE 2025 runs from May 1 to July 31, and includes 3–5 hours a month of self-paced modules with one synchronous workshop each month. The program has been updated include information exploring ethical considerations in AI-generated content, responsible AI tool usage and emerging ways AI is being used in open educational resource creation, open access publishing and research.
