Help create safe and inclusive academic and workplace environments at UBC by understanding the impact of trauma and how to address it effectively.
Building a trauma-informed workplace is a new self-paced online training course available to all UBC faculty and staff through UBC Workplace Learning.
The 90-minute training was developed in conjunction with faculty members and front-line support staff by UBC’s Health, Wellbeing, & Benefits team and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response office. Through three modules, it introduces the complex impacts of trauma on individuals and communities, and offers practical strategies in support of a compassionate and inclusive environment for students, faculty and staff at UBC.
Equip yourself with tools to support colleagues and create a safe, collaborative environment.
