Tell us what you do at the Faculty in one or two sentences:
I manage the BC Emergency Medicine Network, a new provincial initiative aimed at improving emergency patient care across BC.
What’s your favourite thing about your work?
Working with our management team, talking to our Network members, working with our Patient Partner Volunteers and learning about emergency medicine (and I’m not just saying that! I’m a nerd.)
One thing we might be surprised to learn about you?
When I was younger I played piano and won an award for composing my own blues song.
What is the song you sang out loud as a teenager?
Pre-teen: Born to be wild by Steppenwolf; Teenager: Crash Into Me by Dave Mathews Band
What makes you laugh?
My French Bulldog ‘Burger’ doing the ‘downward dog’ pose. True story.
One thing on your desk you brought from home?
Picture of my husband and I – family is everything.
Most healthy habit:
Indoor cycling classes – loud music and good cardio.
What is your favourite vacation spot and why?
I enjoy travelling, as I love learning about other cultures and tasting different foods. I’d love to explore more of India.
