The Faculty of Medicine invites departments to submit proposals for curriculum changes and new programs.
Due to recent governance changes within the Faculty, all proposed changes to curricula must be reviewed and approved by the Faculty of Medicine to move forward for approval by the UBC Senate before they can be implemented.
The Office of the Dean and the Office of the Executive Associate Dean, Education (EADE) will process the Curriculum Changes and New Program requests, maintaining consistency, streamlining the overall handling of these requests and acting as a single point of contact for proponents. The Office of the Dean and the Office of the EADE will log requests, advise proponents of the specific pathway their request should follow through the governance structure and ensure appropriate follow up.
