The UBC Faculty of Medicine community is invited to comment on proposed amendments to the Academic Administrative Space Policy and the Academic Research Space Policy.
The proposed amendments to the policies, last revised in 2020, reflect UBC’s formal adoption of remote work as part of the Hybrid Work Program in 2022, address evolving institutional space needs, and align with the 5-year cycle of policy updates.
The proposed amendments are now being published for community consultation, and all members of the Faculty of Medicine are encouraged to provide their comments. Please submit feedback on the draft policies via the submission forms below by Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
Feedback received by the project team will be thoroughly reviewed and considered. The project team does not provide individual responses to submitted feedback. However, the feedback received will be summarized, along with the project team’s response, in a summary report that will be posted to the project page on MedNet.
