Integrate climate-change content into your UBC Vancouver course with a guest lecture delivered by qualified UBC graduate students through the Climate Teaching Connector program.
Coordinated by the UBC Sustainability Hub, the Climate Teaching Connector offers instructors an accessible way to integrate climate change-related content into your courses. The program connects faculty with graduate students from diverse disciplines, who deliver 50- or 80-minute guest presentations grounded in their graduate program, research, lived experiences and unique climate perspectives.
The program is free for instructors, and graduate student speakers are selected, interviewed and compensated directly by the program. Since its launch, the Climate Teaching Connector has facilitated more than 70 guest presentations across 36 academic departments, engaging over 3,700 students.
