I am pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Faculty of Medicine Distinguished Achievement Awards.
These awards recognize faculty members who have made exceptional contributions in education, research or service—honouring those whose work is improving lives, advancing knowledge and making a meaningful difference to communities, both here and around the world.
I encourage you to review the award categories and criteria. Depending on the category, recipients will be selected based on excellence demonstrated during the past assessment year, or on both past assessment year as well as overall career contributions.
Nominations must be made by department heads or school directors by Friday, April 17, 2026. Recipients will be announced in the summer and will be formally recognized at the Faculty of Medicine Awards Reception in the fall.
