Following the tragic events that unfolded on Saturday at the Lapu Lapu Festival, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the deep impact this has had on the Filipino community and our Faculty community. We encourage everyone to read the President’s message shared this morning, which conveys our collective condolences to those affected and reflects the sorrow we all share.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the emergency responders, especially the medical and health professionals within the Faculty of Medicine community, whose swift and compassionate actions on the front lines have been invaluable during this difficult time.
