The MD Undergraduate Program Admissions Office invites you to participate in the 2026 admission interviews for the MD Undergraduate Program. Your participation in this important process is integral to selecting the next class of UBC medical students.
All admissions interviews and training sessions will be held in a virtual format. Sign up to become an interviewer by Friday, October 31.
2026 Multiple Mini-Interviews (MMI)
Invited d MD undergraduate program applicants will meet 10 different interviewers in a video-chat environment.
Key dates:
- The MMI dates are January 31, February 1 and 7, 2026.
- Interviewers must attend a virtual training session on January 28. Attending the training session is mandatory, even if you have been an interviewer before.

2026 Northern & Rural Panel Interviews (NRPI)
The NRPI provides invited applicants the opportunity to express their interest in rural medicine, highlight their rural experiences and connections, and speak to their suitability for the northern and rural seats in the MD Undergraduate Program.
Clinicians, faculty, community members and medical students living in northern and rural regions of British Columbia can apply to be an interviewer.
Key dates:
- The NRPI date is February 8, 2026.
- Interviewers must attend a virtual training session on February 4. Attendance at this training session is mandatory for all interviewers.

How to sign up
- When completing the interviewer sign-up form, please indicate your interest in participating in the MMI, the NRPI or both.
- Please note that you cannot be an interviewer if you, a family member, personal friend or close acquaintance is applying for medical school this year or in the near future.
- Sign up as an interviewer by Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm PST. The form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
