BC Rural Health Conference

Join the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) for the 2026 BC Rural Health Conference, May 29–31 in Prince George.

The conference brings rural and remote healthcare providers together for practical continuing medical education and the kind of connection that helps people keep going in demanding roles. This year’s program blends hands-on learning with high-impact topics across the scope of rural practice, including emergency care, maternity, pediatrics, mental health, chronic disease and practice transition.

RCCbc acknowledges with gratitude that the conference will gather on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, and honours the relationship to land, waters, and community that makes this gathering possible.

A highlight of the weekend is the opening keynote, The Knowledge Crisis! How Did We Get Here and What Can Physicians Do?, from Prof. Timothy Caulfield, as well as sessions from speakers including Dr. Terri Aldred, Dr. Adam Sandell, Dr. Launette Rieb, and Dr. Allison Gregory, and rural clinicians and educators from communities across B.C.  The program also includes social and community-building activities.

Register by Monday, April 6 for early bird rates.
