Join the School of Biomedical Engineering for the SBME Symposium on June 13, 2023.
The symposium will provide an opportunity for faculty, trainees, industry and hospital partners, and students to learn from and engage with peers who are making an impact in the field of biomedical engineering.
Highlights include a keynote by Murali Venkatesan, Head of Danaher Equity Ventures, and research talks from Sara Roccabianca (Michigan State University), Adrien Desjardens (University College London), and Gane Ka-Shu Wong (University of Alberta).
The event also includes a panel conversation on reconciliation and collaboration in biomedical engineering, exploring building meaningful partnerships between Indigenous peoples and the biomedical engineering research community, rooted in respect for Indigenous knowledge and culture.
