Nominations are now open for the following Medical Council of Canada (MCC) Awards. Submit a nomination by April 30.
The Dr. Maureen Topps Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Assessment of Clinical Competence recognizes an individual or group who demonstrates sustained excellence in Canadian health care and/or health care research. Its recipients are the people who ensure our health care professionals meet the high standards that Canadians enjoy and expect.
The Dr. Louis Levasseur Award for Distinguished Service is presented annually to a council, staff or committee member of the MCC, past or present, or to a person whose collaboration has contributed in an extraordinary manner to the vision and mission of the MCC.
We invite you to consider colleagues who could be eligible for these distinctions. Contact fom.recognition@ubc.ca to declare your intent to nominate before submitting the application directly to the MCC.
