If you have an idea for a project to advance UBC’s equity and anti-racism priorities, apply to the Strategic Equity & Anti-Racism (StEAR) Enhancement Fund.
Projects led by UBC faculty and staff are invited to apply for funding between $500 to $10,000 per project, with a separate stream for student projects to be announced in October. Funding is available for events, programs, activities and more that align with one or more of the following themes:
- Gender and 2SLGBTQIA+ equity;
- Racial equity (these may be directed to or augmented by the Indigenous Strategic Fund if appropriate);
- Disability equity.
Submit your proposal by Wednesday, October 15. An additional application window will be available from January 12–February 8, 2026.
