UBC Vancouver faculty, staff and students are invited to submit proposals for a number of teaching-related funding opportunities. Please note some of the application deadlines have changed since first announced.
SoTL Seed program
Deadline extended! Members of the UBC community are invited to apply to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Seed program, which offers support for faculty interested in exploring and understanding the impact of their pedagogical choices. Support includes graduate research specialists, collegial collaborations, and complementary funding for projects.
Submit a proposal by by January 4, 2023.
UBC Vancouver faculty can also apply for the SoTL Dissemination Fund — applications are accepted and reviewed on a monthly basis.
OER Implementation Grants
Deadline extended! Using Open Educational Resources (OER) in courses helps address affordability by reducing student costs for learning materials and assessments. OER Implementation Grants provide up to $25,000 in funding and staff support to faculty who wish to incorporate OER as required materials into their credit courses at UBC Vancouver.
Submit a proposal by 3 pm on January 19, 2023.
Students as Partners Fund: Opening February, 2023
The Students as Partners (SaP) Fund supports faculty members and undergraduate students working together to
redesign undergraduate courses at UBC Vancouver.
The fund will open to new project proposals in February, 2023.
