This multi-day workshop focuses on giving new and experienced educators an opportunity to try new teaching approaches and sharpen existing skills in a supportive atmosphere.

Join this half-day orientation at UBCV, which serves as a space for new faculty to build professional relationship, and aims to enhance teaching skills and support efforts to create significant, transformative learning experiences for students.

CTLT Summer Institute (in-person & online)
The CTLT Summer Institute focuses on the fundamentals of teaching and learning for new instructors and teaching assistants.
- The Summer Institute runs from August 19–22, 2024.
Teaching Development Program for New Faculty (multi-access)
This cohort program supports faculty members across UBC campuses in their professional growth as teachers. The intended audience is faculty who are either new to teaching, new to UBC, or both, with an emphasis on those who are new to teaching.
- Program runs from September 1, 2024–April 30, 2025
