Dr. Kenneth Brown passed away on March 20, 2023.
A clinical professor emeritus in the Department of Orthopaedics, Dr. Brown joined UBC as a clinical faculty member in 1993 while practicing at BC Children’s Hospital. He was an accomplished pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in tumour surgery and limb reconstruction.
Dr. Brown also served as president of the International Society of Limb Salvage, and received recognition for his work including the American-British-Canadian Travelling Fellowship, and the Eduoard Samson Award for research from the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.
