Dr. Mary Louisa Miller passed away on January 28, 2024.
A clinical assistant professor emerita, Dr. Miller served in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
Dr. Miller was one of the first women in Canada to obtain a fellowship in anesthesia, followed by a nearly 40-year career at Vancouver General Hospital.
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags were lowered on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in remembrance.
