Dr. Raja T. Abboud passed away on January 9, 2025.
A distinguished researcher in respiratory diagnostics, Dr. Abboud was a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Medicine, and also served as Director of the Pulmonary Function Test Lab at Vancouver General Hospital for many years. His research work on measuring lung function and managing respiratory diseases advanced the understanding and treatment of lung disease.
