Derek K Thompson – Čaabať Bookwilla | Suhiltun, Hereditary Chief and Director of Indigenous Engagement, invites you to bear witness to this important conversation with Dr. David Suzuki, award-winning scientist, broadcaster, and renowned environmental activist and supporter of Indigenous knowledge systems, and Dr. Shane Pointe, Knowledge Keeper of the Musqueam First Nation and recipient of the inaugural Honorary Doctorate of Original Laws from the Native Education College.
Together, they will share their perspectives on climate change, truth, reconciliation and our shared responsibility to care for Mother Earth — learning from Indigenous traditions of respectful coexistence. You are invited to join in our efforts to heal, to come together, and to anchor our commitments to do and be better — for the present and for the future.
