The 2026 Canada Excellence Research Chairs (CERC) competition has now launched, and the Faculty of Medicine Office of Research is seeking nominations from interested candidates.
The CERC program aims to support world-renowned researchers and their teams to establish ambitious research programs at Canadian universities. The Faculty of Medicine has been invited to submit up to three nominees. Nominees must be full professors or associate professors expected to be promoted to full professor within one or two years of the nomination.
Interested applicants must complete the registration form by 5 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, with preliminary nominations due to the Faculty of Medicine Office of Research by March 19.
