The UBC Indigenous Strategic Initiatives (ISI) Fund is open for applications from all faculty, staff and students at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan.
The ISI Fund supports implementation of UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan. Over the past two years, funding has been awarded to sixty projects advancing Indigenous initiatives at the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses across multiple Faculties, departments and non-academic units.
A total of $2 million dollars in ISI funding is available for Cycle 3: 2023-2024, across three streams:
- Innovative Projects: $30K–$100K for one- or two-year projects led by faculty & staff
- Transformative Projects: $50K–$250K for projects up to three-years led by faculty & staff
- Student-led Projects: Up to $50K for projects led by graduate & undergraduate students
Submit a letter of intent by January 12, 2024.
