UBC Faculty of Medicine 1950-2025: 75 years of excellence across British Columbia

Beyond 75: Imagining the future of medicine at UBC

Join us for a series of special events across the province

2025 marks the Faculty of Medicine’s 75th anniversary — seventy-five years of transforming health across British Columbia, Canada and around the world.

Together, let’s celebrate the incredible contributions of our faculty, staff, learners and alumni — past and present — and let’s imagine the future of medicine at UBC and beyond. What are the opportunities, challenges and resources we should be thinking about over the next 10 years?

I would like to invite you to Beyond 75: Imagining the future of medicine at UBC, a series of special events around the province, beginning January.

Each event will feature an interactive panel discussion with faculty, staff and learners, as well as health partners from urban, rural and Indigenous communities across the province. You will also be invited to participate in an engagement activity. A lively networking reception will follow.
