How to create a Worktag (Cost Centre, Program, Gift, Gift Initiative and Project).
Worktag Request Process
To create an account to track funding and expenses related to the non-research, non-endowment or specific-purpose funds, departments/schools/centres/units need to send the request to the Finance Manager for the units. Finance will submit worktag request on behalf of unit using the Workday request framework.
Creation of grant worktags are handled by the University’s Office of Research Service or University Industry Liaison Office. Application for grant worktags and other resources can be found on the Office of Research Services website.
