|Charles A. McDowell Research Award|
Medal presented to an oustanding young faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in pure or applied scientific research.
|Chew Wei Memorial Prize in Cancer Research|
Prize awarded annually to a Canadian who has made outstanding contributions to the treatment, amelioration, or cure for cancer.

Award to recognize the outstanding lecturers in our medical research fields.

Recognizes exceptional members of faculty in the areas of research and/or teaching or learning.

|FoM Summer Student Research Program|
Provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to explore their
interest in medical research by undertaking a project during the summer.
|Friedman Award for Scholars in Health|
Provides funding to graduate students or medical residents so that they can pursue a learning opportunity to further their career.

|Galloway Leukemia Research Seed Funding|
Fund to support research into the causes and cure for leukemia.
Infrastructure awards from agencies such as Canada Foundation for Innovation, BC Knowledge Development Fund, etc.

Prize and certificate awarded annually to an active faculty researcher for a distinguished record of published research.
|Killam Faculty Research Fellowship|
Assist promising faculty members who wish to devote full time to research and study in their field during a recognized study leave.

Prize awarded annually to full-time faculty members in recognition of outstanding research and scholarly contributions.
|Margolese National Brain and Heart Disorders Prizes|
Two prizes awarded annually to Canadian physicians or scientists who have made oustanding contributions to brain or heart disorders research.

Research stipend presented to a faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding service to the University and the community by sharing research expertise via the news media.
