Letter to an Interviewed yet unsuccessful Candidate: A sample letter to send to job candidates who have been interviewed, but were not identified as the final candidate (i.e. offered the position).
Offer Letter Template – FoM Full-Time Faculty – RESEARCH STREAM (ver Aug 2024): A Faculty of Medicine template to be used for all tenure stream academic faculty in the Research stream (Acting Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor (grant tenure track/grant tenure/tenure track/tenure).
Offer Letter Template – FoM Full-Time Faculty – EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP STREAM (ver Aug 2024): A Faculty of Medicine template to be used for all tenure stream academic faculty in the Educational Leadership stream (Assistant Professor of Teaching, Associate Professor of Teaching, Professor of Teaching (tenure track/tenure)).
Addendum to Housing Assistance Program: To be included with the Housing Applications when sent to the Dean’s Office for approval.
Before obtaining signatures on an Offer Letter, be sure to send the Draft Offer Letter to Svetlana Perry, Assistant Manager, Faculty HR for a review and to finalize the Offer Letter.

Appointment process and checklist

Use our Offer Letter Template – FoM Full-Time/Part-time Without-Review Appointment (ver Aug 2024) for full-time and part-time without review appointments.
Use our Offer Letter Template – FoM – Clinical Fellow Unpaid by UBC (ver May 2024) for unpaid Clinical Fellow appointments.
For other term appointments templates provided by Faculty Relations (i.e. Adjunct, PDF, RA etc.), please refer to Full Agreement Template for Term Faculty Appointment outside of the Bargaining Unit (May 2024) and ensure applicable UBC policies and FOM statements are included on these appointment letters.
