Standardized Desktop Technology for Shared Workspaces
All shared workspaces are equipped with standardized desktop technology, ensuring that you are seamlessly able to use any workspace. Each workspace is equipped with two monitors, a universal docking station, a webcam, a wired keyboard, and a mouse. Desk Phones & Extension Mobility
The Faculty of Medicine has transitioned to using a feature called ‘extension mobility’ to allow users to keep their desk phone numbers (including voice mail) and use them from any desk phone by logging in with their unique login information. Room Booking & Videoconference Training
To support teams to collaborate effectively while working in shared space and in a hybrid capacity, the Digital Solutions Collaboration team offers a broad range of training, including:
- Booking rooms
- Using FoM Video conference rooms
- Using Microsoft Teams
Individuals and teams are encouraged to access these resources to collaborate effectively with your colleagues, whether you are working remotely or in the office. Different training options are available to individuals and teams from online to instructor-led training.
