UBC Health and Safety Policy

The University strives to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for all members of the UBC community. For further information, review the UBC Health and Safety Policy (Policy SC1).

Occupational and Research Safety Programs

Faculty specific programs include the Working Alone Program, which is mandatory for workers in situations where assistance is not readily available in case of emergency or if the worker is injured or in ill health.

The Faculty of Medicine Health & Safety Team work in conjunction with the Department of Safety and Risk Services (SRS). SRS provides guidance and technical expertise to ensure the health and safety of people and the environment at UBC. First Aid Programs and Resources

UBC Vancouver Campus First Aid

Occupational First Aid is available for all faculty, staff and student-staff 24 hours a day on the Vancouver Campus. You can contact the mobile first aid team by calling 604-822-4444 or 2-4444 (UBC landline). For further information, visit the Safety and Risk Services website.

UBC Okanagan Campus First Aid

University of Northern British Columbia Occupational First Aid

University of Victoria Occupational First Aid
