Access training and orientation required for all Faculty of Medicine faculty, staff, and paid students.
As a new employee, a number of courses are required to meet WorkSafeBC and UBC requirements. At UBC, a worker includes faculty, staff, student employees and practicum/clinical placement students.
- For workers based in Vancouver, complete the UBC General Required Courses (Vancouver)
- For workers based in the Okanagan, complete the UBC General Required Courses (Okanagan)
- For students beginning practicum/clinical placements, complete the Clinical Placements: An Introduction to Workplace Health & Safety module
Depending on the work being done, additional job specific training courses may be required to complete.
